4th Pilgrimage with Don Jesús
Durango, Cienega del Oso - Haá +ripa
Once upon a time Marakame Don Jesús had a vision to share the Wirarika Ways. This involved visiting Sacred Places where they leave ofrendas (offerings) and have a communion with the medicine of Peyote. Honored by this offering we decided to go on this journey by the hand of Don Jesús.
We are doing the Pilgrimage for us as a call to our Love Warrior. We are welcoming you to this experience as equals, as family. This adventure requires all to understand that healing is a personal task. This is a call to masters of transforming mundane into a higher realm.
As per the Wirarika tradition there are 5 Sacred Places that correlate to the 5 Deers and one must visit each place 5 times for a total of 25 ofrendas. Don Jesús requests that each of us commit to a minimum of 5 pilgrimages (ideally the five different places). We will be going during May & October of each foreseen year until we complete the 25.
The info below will give you an idea of the adventure. For us it is the portal into a magic world.

DURANGO
In this experience we will work with the mind and its fears, as well as strength & wisdom.

Contribution: $955
Includes: contribution to Don Jesús, ceremonies, lodging, meals in the community of Don Jesús and Cienega del Oso.
Note: Meals outside these spaces will have an additional cost.

What to bring?
This experience is to be taken in Warrior mode.
Come ready to sleep in Nature. Apart from the basics such as tent or mosquito net, mattress, blanket, swimsuit, mosquito spray, cash and any medication you think you may need. The most important thing to bring is your ofrenda.
Make your ofrenda from the moment you enroll, this is your intention. It’s a way of connection between yourself and each power place between times. Once you enroll we will provide you with a video on how to make an ofrenda.

Depending on the intensity of the healing we can have an animal sacrifice. If you are sensitive towards this part of the Wirarika Culture, please do not come.

During the ceremony it is requested to remain in a very personal frequency. The ceremony is done in silence, physical touch is not allowed. The way to contribute to the ceremony is with your songs.

Marakame Don Jesus will do 5 songs at specific times of the night, this is when a big part of the magic happens.

This is an energetic experience and not to be approached with the mind. It is advisable to do plenty of research about what you are signing for. Ask questions, we are happy to answer.

This will be uncomfortable at times, it will push your limits and will challenge your sense of control.

Sleeping arrangements are very basic. We will usually be sleeping outside in tents or under the stars.

The itinerary is based on Don Jesus' dreams. This path requires a lot of trust. We assure you we will be there to pick you up and drop you off for your next destination…the rest is on Don Jesús / magic time.

We are extending this invitation as participants. Don Jesús is in charge of the execution of the ceremony and therefore of the regulation of everything that happens during it.

If at any given time you need help, please ask for it and we will be there.

After the experience we have a whats app group to keep our connection as family and friends. We are not aiming to give any type of therapy.

Don Jesus was born in the Huichol mountain range of western Mexico in a small community isolated from the modern world. He grew up connected to nature and the Elementals following the footsteps of his Shamanic ancestors. Without receiving education and living bear footed for the first 15 years of his life, he developed one of the most powerful intuitions we have ever seen.
He is a master of the ways of sorcery and dream incantation as well as the ways of the Marakame, which translates from huichol to “the one who knows”. He is deeply connected to the supernatural forces and the deities of his tradition. Being a farmer/healer all of his life, he is one of the most humble, strong, wise and down to earth people on this planet.
He has an unbreakable bond with the Spirit world and Peyote, the master plant of the desert. He began communing with Peyote as a small boy. Part of his practice includes extreme walks of weeks without food in order to connect with the Gods of creation. His methods of healing can be considered magical, going beyond the limits of rational understanding.
Even beyond his 100+ years of life his physical stamina and lucidity continues to impress us due to the magnificent spiritual energy he holds. Don Jesus is a live example of physical aspirations and kindness of the heart. We love him dearly and we know you will too.
